Energy flow and dissipation in heterogeneous ensembles of coupled phase oscillators

We present analytical expressions and numerical results for the rates of energy exchange between oscillators with environment in a heterogeneous ensemble globally coupled mechanical phase oscillators. The system is stationary motion under combined action an external harmonic excitation, coupling, friction. Individual moments inertia friction coefficients are different Three dynamical regimes, degrees entrainment characterized. In two these show nontrivial dependence on coefficients, suggesting that transfer power parts can be manipulated by convenient choice individual parameters.
